Period Template - Production week starting on Fridays

Dear Community

as requirement ,I would need to analyse the weekly resource capacity reservations.

This works fine, however the production week should start on Fridays and end on Thursdays.

Is there anyway to achieve this via configuration?

I tried to configure the period template, however, the week ends on Sundays by default.

@Aparisi82 Did you ever reach out to Microsoft on the issue and was it resolved for you? I've got a similar issue with a client.

I can't find any recent help for Period Templates. This document refers to AX 2012. It describes that the Fixed start field only applies when the Period is set to Day. Armed with this information, I attempted (and failed) to create the Periods that you want.

My periods always start on 'today'. I couldn't find any other configuration that gave us what you were looking for.

If I were needing to use the Fixed start function I would be considering putting in a support ticket to MSFT. Either Fixed start isn't working, or my understanding of what it should do is wrong.

    May I ask how?

The working templates dictate the days of the week opened/closed in the calendar as well as hours available.
Where within D365 we can configure that Friday is the first day of the week?

    Hello,

I think that should be possible with 'Working times' and 'Calendars'

    Best regards,
